When It Rains It Pours
I’ve had two hard drives take a shit on me in the last three days, so I haven’t been able to get any SIFF updates happening. Also, you know, seeing movies all day doesn’t help. I mean, it helps me, because its cool, but it doesn’t help you the reader because i don’t have time to update this. Anyways, things are going ok so far. I have been taking copious notes by hand so I can do full writeups later. In short - Pusher and Pusher II are really great, Pusher III less so. Chris Marker’s Case Of The Grinning Cat was fun but nothing special, and preceded by two shorts which were pretty bad. This Film Is Not Yet Rated is good because it makes you realize how insane the whole MPAA ratings board thing is and it has some really interesting interviews, plus I mean its a slam dunk for this crowd. Today is the first four movie day, then another tomorrow. Now I have to go stand in line for Secret Fest in the rain. See you all!
Oh, my apologies to Chris and Steve whose comments sat in moderation for two weeks because for some reason Wordpress isn’t sending me notifications anymore. I have to look into that.
